Rita Richter Landry

Rita Richter Landry of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away December 7, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 83. She was born November 30, 1932, in Port Arthur, Texas, the daughter of Adolph and Myrtis Judice Richter. She worked as a Credit Union Manager for Texaco Credit Union. Rita lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Port Arthur, Texas in 1988.

Rita is survived by her husband of 50 years, Grandville "Buddy" Landry of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter, Connie Sue Long (Jeff) Hermsen of Nederland, TX; three sons, Randy (DeeDee) Landry of Crystal Beach, TX, Keith (Brenda) Landry of Nederland, TX and Brent (Brenda) Landry of Port Arthur, TX; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Butch Richter and grandson Shaun Ray Landry.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Visitation will resume at 9:00 Am till service time on Monday, December 14, 2015. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or a charity of choice.
