A Funeral Service for Rita Dell Warner of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry Barker and Dr. Thomas Yoder officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 9:00 am until service time, at the funeral home.
Rita passed away February 5, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 75. She was born January 30, 1942, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Lee and Doris Bowman Moran. She married Max D. Warner on February 14, 1971 at Rock Island, Illinois, and she retired from Pace Industries. Rita lived in Mountain Home since moving from Coon Rapids, Minnesota, in 1997. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and crocheting, but her real passion was dedicated to assisting veterans. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Ozark VFW Post #3246 Auxiliary and was the chaplain for the Honor Guards.
Rita is survived by her nieces, nephews, and step-sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, one sister and one nephew.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 30 Transportation Fund.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
