Robert passed away November 7, 2016, in Cotter at the age of 89. He was born June 14, 1927, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Frank and Margaret Hakenson Kubat. Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He married Dena Faye Dunnigan on August 5, 1993, at Mountain Home, Arkansas and worked for Montgomery Wards for 36 years after earning his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Robert lived in Cotter since 1987, moving from Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Robert is survived by his two children, Rick G. Kubat and Kim M. Balboa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
