Robert Anderson

Robert Dean Anderson was born September 17, 1930 in Newark, IL. He went to be with his Lord on May 19, 2011 at home. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elsie, his two children Sandra and Richard and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert was a farmer, clock repairman, and amateur photographer. He was active in the Gideon organization until his later years. Robert also served his country during the Korean War. His favorite scripture verse was John 3:18 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." Visitation is Sunday, May 22 from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m. Services will be Monday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Kirby Chapel. The family requests memorials to the Gideon organization.
