A Celebration of Life for Robert Henry Bean, 82, of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel - Bull Shoals, with Hoevel-Barnett VFW post #1341 providing military honors.
He died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Mountain Home. Robert was born November 6, 1928 in Stratford, WI, the son of Charles W. and Helen Schwickerath Bean. He married Judith Ann Bauers on January 14, 1961 at Minocqua, Wisconsin and worked for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Robert Bean was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Robert lived in Flippin, Arkansas since moving from Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin. He was a member of Hoevel Barnett V.F.W. post #1341 of Bull Shoals, American Legion post 318 of Lake Tomahawk, WI, and the Korean War Veterans.
Robert is survived by his wife Judy Bean of Flippin, 2 sons; Dean Bean of Delta Junction, AK, Douglas Bean; 2 brothers; Glenn (Rosie) Bean of Lake Tomahawk, WI, Harold Bean of Marathon, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Newman and Donovan Bean. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
