Robert "Bob" Allen Fischer

A Memorial Service for Robert “Bob” Allen Fischer, 84, of Lakeview, AR will be 11AM, February 19, 2016, at the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church with Pastor Donnie Hudson officiating. Masonic Rites will be provided by the Yellville Masonic Lodge #117. The family will be available to meet with friends and family from 9AM until time of service. Bob died suddenly at his home on February 3, 2016.

Bob was born in Center Point, Indiana to Ralph and Kathryn Hofmann Fischer on February 12, 1931. He married Jean Brooks, his high school sweetheart, 64 years ago. Bob spent 39 years as an electrical lineman and crew leader for Commonwealth Edison Company of Illinois. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. His younger years found him water skiing and snowmobiling. Bob was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church and a 60-year Mason and Past Master.

Bob is survived by his wife, Jean of the home; son, Robert (Lisa) Fischer; two grandchildren, Bradley Fischer and Brooke Fischer (John Calvini) and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Elly all of Naples, FL; brother-in-law, Bill (Barb) Brooks; sister-in-law, Phyllis (David) Maskel; son-in-law, Frank (Barb) Van Milligen, all of IL; sister-in-law, Faye (Bill) Malek of Lakeview, AR and fishing buddy, Steve Buff of Lakeview.

His parents; stepmother; daughter, Stephanie VanMilligen; sister, Carol and her husband, Edsel Price and infant brother all preceded him in death.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that you make donations to the Bull Shoals Food Pantry, The Bull Shoals United Methodist Church or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
