Robert Eugene "Geno" Childress was born October 21, 1955 at Clarksville, Mississippi to Harry R. and Laverne Tibbs Childress. He married Vickie Williams on August 17, 1979 at Cleveland, Mississippi. He Graduated from Delta State University in 1979 with a BS degree in Criminal Justice and received an Associate degree in nursing in 2004 from MDCC. He worked as an EMT and paramedic for the Boliver County Mississippi Medical Center. He moved to Mountain Home in August 2003 and worked as an Emergency Room Nurse at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Geno is survived by His wife; Vickie Childress of Mountain Home, Survivors: Two daughters; Austin Rebecca and Hannah Elizabeth Childress both of Mountain HomeOne sister-in-law; Jamie Williams (Alan) Reynolds and one nephew; Christopher Reynolds of Cleveland, Mississippi.Mother and Father-in-law; James and Margie Williams of Cleveland, Mississippi.Step mother; Buple Childress of Blue Springs, Mississippi.He was preceded in death by his parents. Preceded in Death by: Parents Visitation: Monday, February 5, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Ray Funeral Home Funeral: Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Shelby, Mississippi with Brother Kevin Lindley officiating Burial: Shelby Cemetery in Shelby, Mississippi Memorials: First Security Bank in Mountain Home Honorary Bearers: Boliver Co.
