Robert E.

Robert E. Lee was born June 21, 1939, at Black River Falls, Wisconsin, to Elvin M. and Bertha Shankey Lee. He married Goldie Turner on May 10, 1975 in Marion, Illinois. He was a Fitter for North Shore Gas Company. Mr. Lee lived in Mountain Home for 9 years, moving from Zion, Illinois. He was a member of Moose Lodge #1953 and of the Elks Lodge #1714 BPOE. He loved to hunt and fish, woodworking, coin collecting and was a Packer fan. He passed away on July 23, 2004 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 65 years, 1 onth and 2 days. Survivors: His wife, Goldie Lee, 2 sons, Jim Stinson of Johnson City, Texas, John (Carmen) Stinson of Genoa City, Wisconsin, 2 daughters, Kathy (Nick) Kartheiser of Helena, Montana, Sue (Dave) Harmon of Birmingham, Alabama, 4 grandchildren, Jason Whitlock of Alabama, Joanna Stinson of Chicago, Robert E. Lee Stinson of Wisconsin, and John Allen Stinson, Jr. of Wisconsin, 3 great grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsie and Jacob, 1 sister, Barbara Lee of Madison, Wisconsin, 3 aunts, Myrtle Manders, Helen Meek, and Jean Vail all of Mountain Home, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: Parents and one sister Visitation: From 1:00 until 4:00 P.M. sunday, July 25, 2004. Funeral: Funeral Services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 26, 2004 at the Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating. Burial: Interment was in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemtery.
