A Funeral Service for Robert Keith Fry of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until time of service.
Robert passed away December 5, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. He was born March 12, 1927, in Pittsburg, Kansas, the son of Roy and Cecil Bradshaw Fry. He married Marilyn Miller on October 16, 1954, at Chicago and worked as a pipe fitter. He was a member of the Pipe Fitter's Local 597 in Chicago, Illinois since 1957. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran of Korean War and lived in Mountain Home since 1992, moving from Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of the NRA, Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and Harley Owners Group. He enjoyed riding cross country on his Harley and going to the Sturgis Rally every year.
Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn Ann Fry of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Nancy (Peter) Moslosky of Tinley Park, IL and Karen Fry of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Robert Fry, Jr. of Mountain Home, AR and David Fry of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Alyssa Moslosky and Brandon Fry; and two brothers-in-law, John (Jeanette) Miller of FL and Gerald (Nancy) Miller of Lombard, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lois (Lloyd) Rudisill.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and United States Army Honor Guards.
Memorials may be made to Salvation Army or North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
