A Memorial Service for Robert Dean Galloway of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Justin Knight officiating. Inurnment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
Bob passed away October 27, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89. He was born July 18, 1929, in Flippin, Arkansas, the son of Andy and Maggie Partee Galloway. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran of Korean War. He married Joann Fleeman on January 24, 1954, in Manilla, Arkansas, and was a pilot for PanAm for 30 years. Bob retired to Mountain Home 1984. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Bob is survived by his wife, Joann Galloway of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Pam Galloway of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Rick (Debra) Galloway of East Islip, NY and Ken (Jayne) Galloway of Islip Terrace, NY; five grandchildren, Mary, Janie, Terri, Becky, and Matt; five great-grandchildren; brother, T.O. Galloway of Paragould, AR; and sister, Marvell Beckman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Rod and Jeff Galloway; sister, Darlis Atkinson; and brother, H.J. Galloway.
Memorials may be made to Mountain Home Baptist Church.
