Robert Gardner

Robert Gardner was born Sunday, July 4, 1920 in Peoria, Illinois, to Raymond Ellsworth Gardner and Nellie L. Fish. He married Sally Shick on September 6, 1974 at Ann Arbor, Michigan. He worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Uniroyal plastics. Bob was a U.. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and Korea. Robert lived in Mountain Home since 1982 moving from Eden Prairie, Minnisota. He was a member of B.P.O.Elks #1714, Mountain Home and United Methodist Men and worked as a pre-need counselor for Kirby and Family Funeral home from 1985 until 1992. Bob passed away in Mountain Home on January 24, 2008 at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 20 days. Survivors: His wife, Sally Gardner and one Son, Rob Gardner of Detroit, MI, one Daughter, Peggy (Richard) Weinberg of Chesterfield, MO, two granddaughters, Lauren Weinberg and Erin Halliburton, one Stepdaughter, Candace (Wayne) Halliburton of Arlington, TX, one Brother, William Gardner of Houston, TX, one Sister, Maryann Bachman of Washburn, IL. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, step-mother and step-son, Randall Shick. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Robert E Gardner of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 28, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Siegfried Johnson, Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
