Robert Kauffman

Robert L. Kauffman died Saturday, May 30, 2009 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 82. Robert L. Kauffman was born Thursday, August 19, 1926 in Miami, Florida, the son of Ralph and Dorothy Harman Kauffman. He married Frances Eaddy at Bushnell, Florida and worked as a Postal Employee for the U.S. Post Office for 35 years. Robert L. Kauffman was a Naval Air Corps veteran of WWII. Mr. Kauffman lived in Mountain Home since 2000 moving from Sarasota, Florida. He was a graduate of Sarasota High School and a member of the Gulf Coast Woodcarvers Club and Elks in Sarasota. Survivors: Robert L. Kauffman is survived by his wife, Frances Kauffman and 2 sons, Steven Kauffman of Tallahassee, FL and Robert (Lori) Kauffman of Mountain Home, AR, 4 grandsons, Jared (Julie), Travis, David (Amanda) and Thomas and 2 great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Brenden. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and sister. Funeral: Memorial services for Robert L. Kauffman of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 4, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Siegfried Johnson officiating. Burial: Burial will be in Bushnell, Florida. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or a favorite charity .
