Robert Lapp

Robert Edgar Lapp was born January 30, 1923 in Springer, New Mexico. He was the son of John Isaac and Lillian Lapp. He married Leota Williamette Stark on April 16, 1947 in Gloreata, New Mexico. He retired as Senior Chief in 1963, after twenty-one years in the Navy. He then worked for the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratories, retiring in 1988 as an optical man. Mr. Lapp was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1988 from Waukegan, Illinois. He loved playing pinochle and he was a protestant. Robert Edgar Lapp passed away at his residence on July 15, 2005, at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 15 days. Survivors: Robert Edgar Lapp was the loving father of two daughters, Susan Groat and husband David of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Trudy Bradford of Oneonta, Alabama. He is survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one brother, Phillip and his wife Nancy of Sherwood, Oregon.
