Robert Lohrei

Robert Lohrei died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Oakland at the age of 77. Robert Lohrei was born Monday, November 3, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois, son of Jesse Lohrei and Katherine McCracken. He married Kathy Curtin on September 2, 1978 at Carol Stream, Illinois. He worked 30 years in management for GTE Telephone. Robert Lohrei was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Robert lived in Oakland for 20 years moving from Chargin Falls, Ohio. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and was a KTLO weather watcher for 7 years. Survivors: his wife, Kathy Lohrei and 2 sons; Robert (Krystal) Lohrei, Jr. of Hickory, NC, David (Teri) Lohrei of Middleton, WI, 1 daughter, Linda Lohrei of Sun Prairie, WI, 8 grandchildren; Kaity, Caleb, Mason, Veronica, Zoe, Jennifer, Christine and Jessica, 3 great grandchildren; Taylor, Tatum and Cooper.
