Robert Loose

Robert John Loose was born March 28, 1922 in Joliet, Illinois. He was the son of Gustav and Veronica Dowalgowski Loose. He married Betty Jo Turner on September 21, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was employed with Illinois Bell Telephone Company in the position of senior auditor, for forty-one years. Mr. Loose was a United States Army WWII veteran. He and his wife Betty Jo lived in Rockford, Illinois prior to moving to Cotter, Arkansas, in 1981. He was a past member of the Lions, Moose, Elks, VFW, Telephone Pioneers of America and Loyal Order of "River Rats". Robert John Loose passed away at Gassville Nursing Center, in Arkansas, at the age of 83 years and 23 days. Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Betty Jo Loose of Cotter, Arkansas; son, Terry A. (Donna) Loose of San Jose, California, two grandsons, Brian Todd Loose of Arcata, California and Alan Ryan Loose of Squaw Valley, California; two sisters, Beverly McEvilly and Emily Rolando both of Joliet, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: Parents, two sisters and two brohers Visitation: Saturday, April 16, Noon until time of service Funeral: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sam Hofer officiating; Military Honors by the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council with Honor Guard by Ozark V.F.W.
