Robert John Nebe, Sr. was born March 20, 1928 at Chicago, Illinois to Reinhold and Regina Gent Nebe. He married Audrey Rosenow on June 5th, 1948 at Chicago. He owned El Sombrero restaurant in Mountain Home for 21 years and was a Navy veteran of WW II. Mr. Nebe lived in Mountain Home for 32 years, moving from Chicago. He was a member of the Ozark VFW Post #3246, Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and the American Fly Fishermen Association. Robert was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Robert died Sunday, February 25th, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 5 days. Survivors: He is survived by his 3 sons; Robert Nebe Jr. and wife Diane of Norridge, Illinois, Michael Nebe and wife Sandy of Lake Villa, Illinois, William Nebe and wife Eleanor of Highland Village, Texas. 3 daughters; Christine Casalino and husband Charlie of Streamwood, Illinois, Lorraine Hutchinson and husband Bob of Lewisville, Texas, Teresa Ellis and husband Bobby of Gassville, Arkansas. nine Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren and a special friend Dorothy Traska. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Rudolph Nebe. Visitation: Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home and Vigil service at 7:00. Funeral: Funeral Mass for Robert John Nebe of Mountain Home will be 3:00 Monday, March 5, 2007 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Charles Kanu as celebrant. Burial: Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum Memorials: American Diabetes Association Honorary Bearers: Charlie Casalino, Bob Hutchinson, Bobby Ellis, Ron kalke, Sr. Bob Wozniak, Bill Long, Bill Klemm, Hank Chodacki and Buddy Rosenow.
