Robert F Prox

Robert F Prox of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away February 2, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born May 8, 1930, in Janesville, Wisconsin, the son of Frank and Gertrude Hill Prox. He married Glenda Shelby on November 24, 1967, in Oregon, Illinois and worked in sales for Sunshine Biscuit Company and Salerno Biscuit Company. Robert lived in Mountain Home since moving from Hoffman Estates, Illinois, in 1998. He enjoyed golfing and gardening. He loved to tinker with whatever he could get his hands on. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and his golden retriever Ruby.

Robert is survived by his wife, Glenda Prox of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Pamela (Frank) Robles of West Plains, MO, and Jody (Al) Clauson of Marengo, IL; eight grandchildren, Jason Wright, Joe (Leslie) Wright, Jeni Robles, Sabrina Wyatt, Frank (Jen) Robles, Cory Robles, Amber Doolin, and Autum Doolin; and 18 great grandchildren, Lily, Trent, Christian, Leyna, Anniya, Michele, Maria, Faith, Hope, Frankie IV, Iris, Amara, Adan Jr, Isaiah, Aubrianna, Asher, Aiden, and Aurora.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Prox; and two sisters, Dorothy and Marcella.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services and Burial will be held in Janesville, Wisconsin. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
