Robert Ryan died Monday, April 7, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 87. He was born Thursday, March 17, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Thomas and Florence Noss Ryan. He married Marjorie Heffernan on August 4, 1945 at Chicago, Illinois and he worked as a Salesman for the International Paper Co. Robert Ryan was a U.S. Air Force veteran of WWII. Robert lived in Mountain Home since 1981 moving from Battle Creek, Michigan and was a member of the Holy Name Society and St. Vincent de Paul. Survivors: Robert Ryan is survived by his wife, Marjorie and 2 sons, Robert M. (Roberta) Ryan of Homer Glen, IL, and James T. (Karolyn) Ryan of Long Meadow, MA, 3 sisters, Rosemary Hepner, Nancy Decker and Dorothy Ryan, 3 grandchildren, Scott (Joalice), Liz and Dan Ryan, great-grandson, Jack Thomas Ryan and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 10 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral: Memorial Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 11:00 Friday, April 11 with Reverend James Fanrak officiating.
