He married Laverne Joyce on August 6, 1940, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a Photographer for the City of Chicago. He enjoyed pottery work, cooking and photography. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the B.P.O. Elks in Tallahassee, Florida. Robert lived in Mountain Home since 2007, moving from Tallahassee.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Sandin of Mountain Home, AR; son, Robert (Patricia) Sandin of Hilton Head Island, SC and nephew, Rudy Polocek of Cotter, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 son.
