Robert Udell

Robert Udell died Monday, November 5, 2007 in Flippin. He was 88. Robert Udell was born Monday, April 14, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois, son of Theron Udell and Francis Irene Blackburn. He married Patsy Udell on September 27, 1961 at Elgin, IL. He worked as a Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service. Robert Udell was an Army veteran of WWII. Robert lived in Flippin for 28 years moving from Elgin, IL. He was a member of Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341, Elgin Moose Lodge and Retired Fisherman's Club. He was an avid reader of non-fiction, loved to fish, a gadget collector, photographer (dark room), woodworker (always active) and loved bowling. Survivors: his wife, Patsy Udell; 3 sons, Steve (Deborah) Theron of S. Elgin, IL, Kerry Roy (Tammi) Vest of Elburn, IL, and Damon Bruce (Linda) Vest of Alton, IL, 2 daughters, Kyle (John) Garcia of Elgin, IL and Lynn Rae Udell of Mountain Home, AR; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: his parents, first wife, Mavis and one sister. Funeral: Memorial Services for Robert Theron Udell of Flippin, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Bull Shoals United Methodist Church, with Rev. Nicholas C. Lascaro, officiating. Memorials: Ozark Community Home, Mountain Home
