Robert Daniel Wedgeworth

Robert "Bob" Daniel Wedgeworth, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away February 20, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 67. He was born June 14, 1954, in Mountain Home, the son of Sherman and Irene Hargrave Wedgeworth. He married Brenda Wickersham on June 30, 1978, in Mountain Home. Bob worked for Lowell Marchant since the early ‘70’s, before becoming part owner and operator of Marchant Building Center in 1992. Bob cared deeply for the community and was giving of his time. He was a member of the Big Creek Board, the Economic Development Board, Twin Lakes Home Builders Board, Ace Lumber Advisory Council and was a Tennis Captain for his men’s league. He worked with many Judges and Mayors over the years on various issues. Bob was a natural leader and teacher. He was smart, and his guidance will be greatly missed by many. Bob's family would like to extend their gratitude to the COVID-ICU unit staff, for fighting as hard as Bob did.

Bob is survived by his wife, Brenda Wedgeworth; daughter, Brittany Wedgeworth; sister, Mary Ada Wedgeworth; brother, Francis Stone and two grandchildren, Carson Wedgeworth and Aspen McCurley, all of Mountain Home, AR and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brandon Daniel Wedgeworth.

A Celebration of Life for Bob will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 1:00 pm until time of service.
