A Memorial Service for Robert Earl Whitaker of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Mr. Darrell Young officiating.
Robert passed away December 9, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 68. He was born November 12, 1945, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the son of James and Cora Mae Barker Whitaker. He married Dawn Humphrey on June 3, 1989, at Mountain Home, AR and worked as a Concrete Finisher for Bob Whitaker Concrete. Robert was a U.S.Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Seventh Cavalry Airborne Artillery. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
Robert is survived by his wife, Dawn Whitaker, of Mountain Home, AR; step-daughter, Anna Dutton of Many, LA; two granddaughters Cassy (Hale) Gunter of Fort Polk, LA and Robin (Jimmy) Morrell of Richland, MS; great-grandchildren, Jimmy Jr., Alyssa, Michael, Kayden, Remington and Gauge and companions, Rusty and King, of the home and several brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
