Robert White

Bob entered into eternity rest on Monday, August 4, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 75. Bob was born Monday, April 17, 1933 in Sweetwater, Texas, son of William Frances and Lola Jane Goble White. He worked as a restaurant and hotel manager for Mel Mack, Inc. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea and lived in Mountain Home since 1988 moving from Long Beach, California. He was a lifetime member of the Mountain Home Ozark VFW Post 3246 and a member of the BPOE Elks for 32 years. Bob was a good man and will be missed by all who loved him. Survivors: Bob is survived by his sister, Christine Hamilton of Monsano, WA, step-daughter Shannon Sheridan of CA and nephew, Ted (Sharon) White of San Antonio, TX . Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. 2 wives, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from Noon until service time. Funeral: Funeral services for Robert L. "Bob" White of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Ted White officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Additional Notes: Military Honors provided by North Central Arkansas Veterans Council, Ozark Post VFW #3246 Honor Guard.
