Robert Williams

Robert O. Williams was born June 12, 1919 at Gaston, Tennessee to Clarence Thomas and Retha Wright Williams. He married Lottie Moore on Feb. 19, 1942 at Blytheville, Arkansas. He retired as an assembly worker for General Motors. Robert moved to Mountain Home in 1996 from Pontiac, Missouri and was a member of the East Side Baptist Church. He passed away October 19, 2007 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 23 days. Survivors: Robert is survived by his wife; Lottie Williams of Midway.One daughter; Janette Roberta Williams Baker (James) of Hemet, CaliforniaOne Granddaughter; Jane Ellen Garretson (Jon) and two great granddaughters; Jessica Ann and Hannah Marie Garretson and one brother; Donald Williams of Pratt, Kansas. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter; Evelyn Faye Williams, three brothers and six sisters Visitation: Visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Funeral: A Funeral Service for will be at 9:30 A.M. Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Shy officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, Arkansas at 3:30 P.M. Monday.
