Memorial services for Robert Andrew Yoder, 75, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 honor guard.
Robert died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 11, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Robert Andrew and Stephanie Kapalanski Yoder, Sr. He married Susan Larsen on August 25, 1990 in Lombard, Illinois and worked as a fire sprinkler engineer for 40 years. Robert Yoder was a U.S. Navy veteran and lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1999 moving from St. Charles, Illinois. He was a member and usher of Twin Lakes Baptist Church and enjoyed boating, fishing and woodworking for which he recieed several blue ribbons for his accomplished skill. He was the past district president for the Glenside Fire Protection District.
Robert is survived by his wife, Susan of Mountain Home, AR; 1 son, Mark Yoder of NY; 3 daughters, Rebecca A. Engelbrecht of Hebron, IL, Christine (Paul) Fedorys of Blue Point, NY and Carolyn (Christian) Conrad of Lake In The Hills, IL and 12 Grandchildren; Michael, Zach, Courtney, Shane, Cody, Abby, Andrew, Ethan, Dylan, Sarah, Madison and Cameron.
Memorials may be made to the Twin Lakes Baptist Church Hope Center.
