Robert passed away October 8, 2015, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 64. He was born August 29, 1951, in Burlington, New Jersey, the son of Robert and Mary Clarke Zimmerman. He married Sandi Morrow on March 10, 1973, at Maple Shade, NJ. Robert was a self-employed Journeyman Plumber with the UA Local 322. He had lived in Fairview since 2010, moving here from Tabernacle New Jersey. Robert had a number of hobbies including model trains, cooking, baking and gardening, but mostly he enjoyed being home with Sandi.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sandi Zimmerman of Fairview, AR; mother, Mary Zimmerman of Mount Laurel, NJ; brothers, Mark Zimmerman of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Scott (Sharon) Zimmerman of Stratford, CT; sisters, Wendy (John) Downey of Bensalem, PA, Mary Beth Zimmerman of Audubon, NJ, and Jennifer Zimmerman of Bayville, NJ; Uncle, Bob (Nancy) Clarke of Washburn, WI; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many close friends near and far.
Donations in Robert's honor may be made to the charity of your choice. He was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
