Robert Zurn

Robert "Bob" Zurn of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away May 29, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. Bob was born January 4, 1942, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, the son of Merlyn and Mary Schaefbauer Zurn. He married Irma McMeans on September 5, 1964, in Gary, IN and worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Georgia Pacific Paper Company. Bob served his country as a member of the United States Navy . Bob reitred in 2004 and moved to Flippin, AR. He was a member of the Cattleman's Association. Bob was a competition pool player and loved to fish, and hunt. He also enjoyed woodworking and working on old cars. Bob and Irma found their church home at Believer's Cowboy Church.

Robert is survived by his wife, Irma Zurn of Flippin, AR; son, Steven (Lori) Zurn of Honolulu, HI; son, Daniel (Christy) Zurn of Valparaiso, IN; brothers, John (Carol) , Kenny, and Mike (Sherri); sister, Marlene (Jerre); step-grandchildren, Heather, Kaylie, and Austyne and seven step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy.

A Celebration of Life will be 2PM, June 13, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Brother J.W Ott officiating.
