Roberta Baker

A graveside memorial service for Roberta Baker, 74, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at a later date in Keokuk, Iowa. Roberta died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Mountain Home. Roberta was born December 29, 1936 in Downing, Missouri, the daughter of Glen and Ethel Schubert Seamster. She married Verlin Baker on November 25, 1954 at Downing, Missouri and worked as a DMV Clerk for Lee County Iowa. Roberta lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1989 moving from Keokuk, IA. She was a member of the East Side Baptist Church. Roberta is survived by her husband, Verlin Baker of Mountain Home; one son, Roger (Sheila) Baker of Eagle River, AK; one daughter, Margaret (Hank) Lefler of Hamilton, IL and one sister, Wilma (Bob) Nicholson of Canton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents. Burial will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks or East Side Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
