Roland Brandon

Roland Chester Brandon was born November 23, 1937 at Leachville, Arkansas son of William Sylvester and Evie Elizabeth Davis Brandon. He married Alline Weeks on June 16, 1956 at Chicago, Illinois and had lived in Gainesville, Missouri for 20 years before moving to Cameron, Oklahoma. He was an electrician and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Roland died at Poteau, Oklahoma on December 9, 2009 at the age of 72 years and 16 days. He is survived by 2 sons: Roland (Suzy) Brandon of Lake City, Arkansas and Ronald (Sheila) Brandon of Gepp, Arkansas; 1 Daughter, Sissy (Jim) Long of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: Floyd (Wanda Mae) Brandon of Leachville, Arkansas, Eugene (Shirley) Brandon of Paragould, Arkansas, Norman (Melba) Brandon of Gassville, Arkansas and Leon (Rosetta) Brandon of Whiteville, Arkansas; 3 Sisters: Wynetta Dean of Corning, Arkansas, Shirley (Charles) Taylor of Pangburn, Arkansas and Joyce (Loy) Bost of Cardwell, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 grandson. Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas with Olan Gooch, Marvin Brandon, Norman Brandon, Jr., Neal Rasmussen, Denny Alden, LaDale Brandon, Gerald Wayne Brandon, Marty Walker, Danny Brandon, Darrell Brandon and Mark Taylor as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice.
