Roma Stickford was born December 14, 1911 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edward and Minnie Reyer Holm. She married Emerson L. Stickford on May 18, 1940 in Milwaukee. Mrs. Stickford moved to Mountain Home in 1970 after her husband’s retirement. She enjoyed being active in the Women’s Club of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin prior to moving to Mountain Home and was active in the Baxter County Republican Party, Twirling Funtimers and a founding member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors: Roma Stickford is survived by 3 sons, Lewis and Nancy Stickford of Tucson, Arizona, Thomas and Lisa Stickford of Virginia and Daniel and Carole Stickford of North Little Rock; 3 daughters, Jill and Edward Stammel of Denver, Christine and John Falkner of Waukesha, Wisconsin and Jacquelyn Goff of Dana Point, Cal., 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchilden. Preceded in Death by: She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral: Funeral services for Roma C. Stickford of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. David Kapler officiating. Mrs. Stickford died Friday, May 7, 2004 at Good Samaritan Village. She was 92 years old. Burial: Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery Memorials: Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Organ Fund, Good Samaritan Village or Alzheimer’s Association. Active Bearers: Edward H. Stammel, John F. Falkner, Gregory J. Falkner, and Matthew Stammel as pallbearers.
