A Graveside Service for Ronald Neal Glass of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 pm, Friday, February 7, 2014, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, with Reverend Ed Friberg officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at the Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel. Ronald Glass, Mike Bobis, David Soeder and William Glass will be pallbearers. William Nicol will be an honorary pallbearer.
Ronald passed away January 29, 2014, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 76. He was born February 1, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Dale and Edith Cox Glass. He worked 35 years in Communications Maintenance for Illinois Bell Telephone Company. Ronald was a U.S.Army veteran and lived in Mountain Home since 1990, moving from Orland Hills, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing.
Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald D. Glass of Mesquite, TX; two daughters, Debra L. (Mike) Bobis of Tinley Park, IL and Sherry A. (David) Soeder of Rockwall, TX; brother, William D. (Rose Mary) Glass of Elkhart, IN; sister, Sandra K. (William) Nicol of Crown Point, IN; grandchildren, Sarah Bobis of Tinley Park, IL, Brian Glass of Raleigh, NC, Rebecca Glass of Mesquite, TX, Jeremy Soeder of Wylie, TX and Elizabeth Soeder, Rockwall, TX; several step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
