Ronald Ellsworth Gorman, 84, of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on June 29, 1940, in Racine, Wisconsin, Ron was the son of Elmer Ellsworth and Jeanne Peterka Gorman. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Ron served his country with honor. He married the love of his life, Rosalie Holeton, on June 29, 1979, in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Ronald devoted many years of his life to his work as a machine operator for Western Publishing Company. In 2002, he made the move to Arkansas, bringing with him a vibrant spirit and a passion for life.
In his earlier years, Ron had a keen interest in muscle cars and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was known for his love of fishing, and found joy in playing Cribbage and cheering for his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. Ron's heart always held a special place for Rosie, and their love was evident to all who knew them.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Sandra Zaczek; his two sons, Randy Gorman and Thomas Gorman; his brother, Glen Gorman; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosalie Ida Gorman, as well as his parents and his sister, Ruth Krause.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date in Wisconsin, where family and friends can come together to honor his memory.
