Ronald Wayne Martin

Ronald Wayne Martin of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away July 8, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was born July 30, 1940, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Melvin and Minnie Capps Martin. He married Dorothy Harris on May 24, 1958, in Atchison, Kansas, and was a Tool & Die Maker for Mountain Muffler. Ron lived in Arkansas since moving from Kansas City, Missouri, in 1984. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. He was a gunsmith and knife maker.

Ron is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jane Martin of Gassville, AR; two sons, Randall Lee Martin, and Sean (Cindy) Martin of Siloam Springs, AR; daughter, Christine (Mark) Martin of Mapleton, OR; eleven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three half-brothers, Milburn, Lawrence, and Kenneth Martin.

A Graveside Service for Ron was 1:00 pm, Monday, July 11, 2022, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Father Norbert Rappold officiating.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
