A Memorial Mass for Ronald Theodore Mikrut of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend Norbert Rappold as Celebrant.
Ronald passed away September 1, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was born April 22, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Theodore and Josephine Smolucha Mikrut. He married his wife, Diane, on August 3, 1991, in Tacoma, WA and worked for twenty five years as a Sales Executive for Astral Precision Tool Company. He lived in Flippin since 2007, moving from La Grange Park, IL. He was a member of the North Arkansas Fly Fishers, Trout Unlimited, Twin Lakes Walleye Club and the Twin Lakes Gun Club. He was a lifelong avid fisherman and sportsman.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Diane Mikrut of Flippin, AR; 2 daughters, Leigh Ann (Richie) Yuen of Oak Bluffs, MA and Kathryn (Thomas) Leatherwood of Channahon, IL; grandchildren, Matthew, Madison and Kate Leatherwood and Annie, Emma and Jack Yuen and great-granddaughter, A'Nyla Morell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
