Ron Solomon died at his home on May 20th after a lengthy, but courageously fought illness. At his death, Ron was comforted and surrounded by the love of his family. He was a deeply committed family man, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. His family will remember him for his quiet, caring, sensitivity as well as his creativity, ingenuity, and precision as a craftsman. Before retirement, Ron owned and operated Good Plumbing Service in Denver Colorado for thirty-five years. He and his wife Judy retired to Henderson from Littleton Colorado in 1993 to enjoy the beautiful Lake Norfork area. Drawn to the water, he was an avid boater and lover of the outdoors. He was an excellent water-skier, a sport he enjoyed teaching his family and many friends. His family will draw strength from a lifetime of wonderful memories of the one who loved them unconditionally and lived life with integrity, strength and courage. Survivors: He is survived by Judy his loving wife of fifty-three years, his daughters Dana, Diana, and Carey (Richard) as well as two grandsons Dustin and Ryan. Preceded in Death by: Ron was preceded in death by his parents Harley and Fern and a sister Phyllis. Funeral: Memorial Services for Mr. Ron Solomon will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Reverend Ann Carriere officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church or the Henderson Volunteer Fire Department.
