Ronald Walejko

Ronald Walejko died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in Mountain Home. He was 72. Ronald Walejko was born Sunday, December 16, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph and Celia Gurtatowski Walejko. He married Lenora Erdmann on November 9, 1963 at Park Forest, Illinois. He worked as a machinist for People's Energy, retiring after 31 years. Ronald lived in Mountain Home for 12 years, moving from Cary, Illinois. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge with a dual membership in Mountain Home and in Cary, Illinois, and a member of the Woodcarver's Association, loved camping and traveling. Survivors: Ronald Walejko is survived by his wife, Lenora Walejko and 2 daughters, Cheryl Josefowicz (Marc) of Cary, IL, and Dawn (Joe) Mullen of Paoli, PA, 5 Granchdildren; Charlie, Sam, Rose, Allison and Melissa. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by 1 sister. Visitation: Private Funeral: Memorial Services for Ronald Joseph Walejko of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 12, 2007 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with Reverend Larry Olson, officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Windridge Cemetery, Cary, Illinois. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
