He worked as a Civilian Section Chief for McCellan Air Force Base, a professor at American River College and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Ronald lived in Flippin since 1996, moving from Sacramento, California. He was a member of the Eagles and V.F.W.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Michele (Dwayne) Hardy of Granite Bay, CA; one granddaughter, Haley Hardy; two sisters, Wilda (Joe) Rosewall of Rio Vista, CA and Linda Kay (William) Messenger of Rio Vista, CA and nieces and nephews, Danny Schindler, Deann Schindler Ramirez, Heather Hollingsworth, William Messanger, Jr., Joe Messenger, Sean Sabala.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
