Rose Marie Clendenan was born August 7, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the daughter of Vernon and Helen Steffens Efinger. She married Oscar Clendenan. She owned several businesses, including Handcrafters, Hill Billy Drive-in, Snoop Shop and Flower Basket and was well known for her cooking. She was a life member of V.F.W. Auxiliary. Rose Marie Clendenan passed away January 7, 2006, at the age of 78 years and 5 months. Survivors: Two daughters, Rose Hudson of Flippin, Arkansas and Marvena Lynch of North Carolina; two sons, John Clendenan of Chesapeake, Virginia and Joe Clendenan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and many good friends Preceded in Death by: Her parents, husband, one brother and one sister Visitation: Monday, January 9. 2006, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral: Graveside services for Rose Marie Clendenan of Bull Shoals will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at Newton Flat Cemetery with Reverend Joe Morris officiating.
