Rose Kathryn Hensley

Rose K. Hensley of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 28, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. She was born February 10, 1942, in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of Lamoyne and Bernice Richardson. She married Paul on November 19, 1960 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Rose was a homemaker. Rose lived in Mountain Home since moving from Maine, in 1994. She enjoyed singing in the choir, watching movies, and gardening. An important part of Rose's life was working with her church jail ministry and visiting the women's jail. Rose was an avid animal lover.

Rose is survived by her husband, Paul Hensley of Mountain Home, AR; son Paul (Natalie)Hensley; daughter, Paula Rafferty; brother, Lamoyne Richardson, Jr (Gerry), sisters, Virginia (Calvin) Worthington and Gail (Johnny) Springer; grandchildren, Scarlette (Geoffrey Klotz) Rafferty, Sean Paul Rafferty, Grace Hensley, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home, Mountain Home, Arkansas. A graveside service will be February 3, 2023 at 10:00 am at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
