Rosita Lee Cotnam Mossman of Mountain home, Arkansas passed away October 20, 2021, in Mountain home Arkansas. She was born November 28th, 1973 in Chula Vista, California to Rory and Deborah Cherney Cotnam. Rosita married her sweetheart, Alex Mossman on June 24, 2016 in Columbia Falls, Montana. Together she and Alex raised her daughter Savannah, while she worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for Fibertel.
Rosita lived in many different places. While many know and love her warm servant heart, she eventually made Mountain Home, Arkansas, home in 2017. Her greatest accomplishments in life, as she would volunteer to all who would listen; were her two daughters, overcoming her fears by declaring her love for her sweetheart thus changing the course of her life, and becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Rosita had a brilliant mind with an uncanny ability to retain information. She made sure to study daily and found much peace in doing so. She relished in random acts of kindness, often serving someone that she would think of during the day through texts, visits, phone calls, or crafted gifts. She enjoyed crafting in all forms and fashions including refurbishing furniture with her husband, cooking, and baking.
Working with the children at church was her favorite calling. She loved the children and served them with joy and grace. While she was often found bouncing from one project to the next, nature healed her spirit and she was often found on the back porch watching Blue Jays and Cardinals. She loved fall for the vibrant colors of the leaves. Rosita is truly a woman of valor and will be remembered for her cheerful, outgoing spirit, her contagious laugh, and her positive outlook no matter the trials she faced.
Rosita is survived by her husband, Alex Mossman; parents, Rory and Deborah Cotman of Arkansas, daughters Savannah Monroe of Arkansas and Halee Jo Mossman North Dakota; and sisters, Valerie Hamade of California and Laure Stevens of Montana.
