Roy Lawson

Roy Lawson Jr. was born Sunday, October 16, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, son of Roy E. Lawson, Sr. and Julia Fritz. He married Nancy Lawson on August 31, 1985 at Barrington, Illinois. He worked as a Tool and Dye Moldmaker for Courtesy Mold and Tool Co.. Roy Lawson Jr. was a US Navy Reserve veteran. Roy lived in Mountain Home since April 1997 moving from Barrington, Illinois. He was a member of Moose Lodge, # 1953 and the Corvette Club. Roy Lawson Jr. died Friday, January 9, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 76. Survivors: Roy Lawson Jr. is survived by his wife, Nancy Lawson and 1 Son, Roy Lawson, III of IL, 7 Daughters, Charmaine (Char), Suzanna (Suzi), Roxanne (Rocky), Laura, Julia (Julie), Cynthia (Cindy), and Lisa , 3 Step-Daughters, Lori, Lisa , and Debra (Debby), 1 Step-Son, Robert, and 1 Sister, Doris Mullins. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral: Memorial Service for Roy Edward Lawson Jr. of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Larry A. Olson officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
