Ruby Gracy

Ruby Dell Gracy was born November 11, 1950 at San Diego, California, to Rufus and Betty Cope Hodges. She married Tommy Gracy on January 20, 1973 at Forrest City, Arkansas. She was a partner and secretary/treasurer for Gracy Building and Design who moved to Mountain Home from Forrest City, Arkansas in 1985. Ruby Dell Gracy enjoyed the lake, reading, friends, family, shopping and sharing the Lord with her friends. She was a member of the SITS Group and was secretary/treasurer for the Twin Lakes Soccer Association. She was of Methodist faith. Ruby Dell Gracy died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at her residence. Survivors: She is survived by her husband Tommy Gracy of Mountain Home, Arkansas; three sons, Cope Gracy of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Daniel and David Gracy of the home; brother Rufus Jesse "Scooter" Hodges, Jr. of Cabot, Arkansas; two aunts, Vaska "Gaga" Cope of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Adelle Shelton of Forrest City, Arkansas; and one nephew. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation: Visitation will be from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Ruby Dell Gracy, 55, of Mountain Home will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006 at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Memorials: Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
