A Celebration of Life for Russel Alan Smakal of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be Friday, June 6, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, with Reverend David Gadbaw officiating.
Russel passed away May 30, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 49. He was born April 28, 1965, in Berwyn, Illinois, the son of James and Dolores Marcucci Smakal. He married Mary Hennelly on July 3, 1994, at Lakeview, Arkansas and was a certified boat mechanic. Russel lived in Lakeview since 2011, moving from Lyons, Illinois. His passion was working on boat motors.
Russel is survived by his wife, Mary Smakal of Lakeview, AR; brother, Jim (Sandy) Smakal of Lakeview, AR and two sons, Justin Smakal of Lakeview, AR and Russel A. (Mary) Smakal of KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, James A. Smakal.
Memorials may be made to the family.
