Services for Russell Lee Bernardy of Gassville, Arkansas will be private. Russell passed away April 14, 2012 at the Gassville Nursing Center at the age of 56. He was born September 13, 1955 at Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Duane G. and Shirley A. Murtland Bernardy. He worked as a self-employed carpenter and was of the Catholic faith. Russell is survived by his brother, George Bernardy; 2 sisters, Bonnie Bernardy and Gwen Bernardy-Bauer; step-brother, Martin M. Huddleston and step-sister, Melody A. Huddleston. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
