Russell Hensley

Russell Hensley died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 58. Russell was born Wednesday, May 10, 1950 in Mountain Home, son of Russell "Bud" and Dorothy Lee Britt Hensley. He married Shirley Ann Gardner on February 27, 1971 in Mountain Home. He worked as a Concrete Finisher and was co-owner of P & H Concrete. Russell was a lifetime resident of Mountain Home who loved his family, church, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved fishing, hunting and camping. He was a member of and sang in the choir at Gassville Baptist Church. Survivors: Russell Hensley is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Hensley and 2 daughters; Stacy (Matthew) Harrington of Cabot, AR, Heather (Clint Cook) Hensley of Mountain Home, AR, 3 grandchildren; Laken and Hayden Harrington, and Colt Cook, 1 brother, Justin Parks of Mountain Home, 2 sisters, Kathy (Troy) Peoples of Higgingsville, MO, and Karen (Ed) Broyles of Cotter, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, and step-father, Keith Parks. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Saturday, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home. Funeral: A memorial service for Russell Gene Hensley of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Gassville Baptist Church, with Reverend Gary Wise officiating.
