Ruth Calahan

Ruth Calahan was born November 22, 1922 in Denmark. She was the daughter of Therkel and Alvilda Borch Heuniche. She married William Calahan on March 17, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. The Calahans moved to the Mountain Home, Arkansas from Niles, Illinois in 1985. Mrs. Calahan was a homemaker. Ruth Calahan passed away on March 17, 2005 at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 25 days. Survivors: Husband of 60 years, William Calahan of Mountain Home, Arkansas; three sons, William (Bev) Calahan of Crystal Lake, Illinois; Kevin (Nancy) Calahan of North Ridgedale, Ohio, and Patrick (Lola) Calahan of Cary, Illinois; four granddaughters; and sister Ulla Krolicki of Illinois Preceded in Death by: Parents and one sister Visitation: Tuesday, March 22 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at the Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
