Ruth E. Guenard was born March 25, 1943, at Manhattan, New York. She was a Nurses Aide. Ms. Guenard has lived in Mountain Home for 28 years, moving from Sauck Village, Illinois. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army, and enjoyed writing poetry and religious songs. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She passed away at Mountain Home, Arkansas on June 15, 2004 at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 20 days. Survivors: 3 daughters, Ruth Niland/Eaton of Mattoon, Illinois, Lisa Briggs of Frisco, Texas, and Iris Kaplan of Bossier City, Louisiana, 2 brothers, John Guenard of Lockport, Illinois and Robert Guenard of Romeoville, Illinois, 3 sisters, Mildred Belford of SauckVillage, Illinois, Helen Cullen of Mountain Home, and Pat Muldoon of Brooklyn, New York, and closest companion, Jerry McDuffie of Mountain Home. Preceded in Death by: her parents, and 7 brothers and sisters. Funeral: 4:00 P.M., Saturday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marvin Clausen officiating. Memorials: Red Cross
