Ruth Herman

Ruth Herman died Monday, December 8, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 92. She was born Sunday, September 17, 1916 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, the daughter of Francis and Cora Lee Castleberry Brown. She married Howard O. Herman on October 27, 1978 at Memphis, Tennessee and owned and operated a Telephone Answering Service. She remembered everyone she ever met, and if she met you, you were her friend. Survivors: Ruth Herman is survived by 2 step-sons, Steve Herman and Jeffrey Herman,both of IL, 1 step-daughter, Linda (Joel) Klein of Westboro, MA and friend and caregiver, Ethel Flock of Mountain Home, AR. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Charles Brown and sister Mary Bonnie. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M., Thursday, December 11 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Graveside services for Ruth Herman of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 12, 2008 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Tom Stover and Pastor Jimmie Snow officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
