Ruth Milam died Friday, November 14, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 69. She was born Friday, August 4, 1939 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, daughter of Mattison D. and Abbie Della Brown Cobb. She married Richard Milam on September 17, 1954 at Parkersburg, West Virginia and was a homemaker. Ruth lived in Mountain Home since 2006 moving from Warrensberg, Missouri. Survivors: Ruth Milam is survived by 1 son, Roy (Kim) Milam of Mountain Home, AR, 2 daughters, Christina (Mark) Morris of Center View, MO and Virginia (Berley) Battle, of KY, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Milam and 2 sons. Visitation: Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 18 until service time at Sweeney, Phillips, Holdren Funeral Home, Warrensburg, MO. Funeral: Graveside services for Ruth Irene Milam of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens, Warrensberg, MO. Burial: Burial will be in the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens, Warrensburg, Missouri.
