Mrs. Singley died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was 74. She was born January 29, 1930, at Nitro, West Virginia, to James Austin and Ethel Leona Krantz Harmon. Ruth moved to Gardena, California in 1951 and worked in the Aircraft Industry. She married Robert L. Singley, October 30, 1954 at Gardena, California. Ruth and Robert moved to Mountain Home from Valencia, California , on August 4, 1987. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of Twin Lakes Golf Club, Twirling Funtimers Square Dance Club, Past President of Sociables Square Dance Club, Past President of Mountain Home Welcome Wagon Club, and Honorary Member of Twin Lakes Retired Railroaders Club. Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Robert of the home,son, Robert (Kathy) Singley of Valencia, 2 granddaughters, Terri and Andrea, 4 sisters, Helen Withrow of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, Ara Clendenin of Gardena, Frances Wendehost of Mission Viejo, California, and Elizabeth Bird of Nitro, West Virginia, and 1 brother, Albert Harmon of Poca, West Virginia. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. Funeral: Memorial Service for Ruth H. Singley of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Alley officiating. Burial: Burial will be in KirbyÂ?s Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. Memorials: Memorials may be made to AlzheimerÂ?s Foundation.
